Arrival of........

A box of goodies.
Some of you may already know that I'm going to be demonstrating at various branches of The Range for Trimcraft. Well my box of products arrived today and OH My Days!! It's jam packed full of amazing goodies and so well stocked with tools and essentials too.
I have been given all the latest products in the new Santoro Range and they are stunning I have to say. The embellishments are totally fabulous. I really can't wait to get started on designing.
I have to say a big thank you to Cara at Trimcraft for these goodies.
I start my demonstrations mid February, but I will give you a list of where I'll be a bit later.
I will make some samples and show them on here too so you can all have a look at this fabulous new range .

I will be visiting the Paper Craft Fair Show at the Motor Cycle Museum, by the NEC tomorrow so if anyone is going let me know and we can meet up and say hi.

Hurrah!!!!.........

At last!!! Ive been able to get the laptop working long enough to upload a photograph. Now I'm switching to the IPad to complete the post before I loose it all again.......
Well long time no hear from me.
I can only apologise to you all once again. Hope you haven't got bored waiting for a new design.
I was asked to design some cards, made with IndigoBlu stamps, for the Crafty Bunch in Telford and this is one of the designs.
I've used the Dinkie Butterfly for this one along with the wording from the Poppy Meadow set.
I do love this butterfly, don't you?
I little bit of blending around the edges with some Peacock Feathers Distress Ink finishes it off nicely.
Well I hope you don't have to wait as long for the next post. I haven't forgotten my promise of a giveaway, don't worry.

YAY!!!!! I passed my final computer course exam yesterday with 92% can't tell you how pleased I am. There's hope for me yet. Just got to get a new laptop sorted now!!

I had the most lovely time again, up in the lakes at the Paper Warehouse, with a fabulous bunch of ladies. I'd been asked to go up there,  every month, to teach cards made with IndigoBlu stamps and we had a great time.
My next visit is on the 27th February and we have fifteen ladies booked in already. So looking forward to it.

Anyway no photos as yet but I am working on it and will be back tomorrow with some (hopefully)

P s.... Have you noticed the fancy wording hee hee!! Computer course wasn't a waste of time after all

200 and Counting......

Well here it is!!
Blog post number 200 can you believe it. I think it's time to celebrate with a giveaway again don't you???
I firstly want to thank you all for taking the time to join me here on my little blog. It humbles me to have you here with me and I hope you all continue to do so.

I am going to attempt to load some pics on here tomorrow (before my laptop cuts out again) and I will organise a little prize too.
Oh yes! I have the laptop back but shes untreatable, she's well past her sell by date (I know that feeling after just celebrating another birthday) so I have to hope she stays on long enough to upload the photos then I can continue on the iPad.
So I'll be back with mire details very soon.
Ooooh what shall we giveaway this time?????????

Today's the Day For......

A new indigoblu challenge, mock exams and a hangover.
Let's deal with the last one first. Yesterday was my birthday!! So I was invited out to dinner with my best friend and my sister and we had a great night, with good food and several bottles of red wine, and many laughs. Well the head is just a little fuzzy this morning which generally I would deal with in a slow, getting there eventually fashion but it just so happens I have my Word2 mock exams this morning. Oh dear!!
I'm still struggling with mail merge and the memory isn't brilliant at the best of times so today will be fun (I don't think so).
Okay, onto the next indigoblu challenge. It's the 21st of the month which means a new challenge starts. My DT entry will have to be viewed on the IB challenge blog I'm afraid because, as you all know already, I'm still laptop less. I checked on her yesterday and it's not looking good. I feel a big expense coming on so may be eating beans on toast for a while!!!
Thursday will see me in the Lake District again and I'm looking forward to that and Friday may be seeing me doing the Word2 exam, well let's see how I do in the mocks first........ To be continued!!

Hi Guys.....

Helloooooooo!!

I'm still here bloggers,  it unfortunately the laptop still isn't!!
After bringing her home from the doctors on Saturday afternoon it wasn't very long until she slipped away again. I'm in complete dispair with it. Anyway back she's gone and I'm still awaiting  news from the computer doctor.

So, can you cope with just my rambling a for a little longer?? I do hope you can.

I'm off to the Lake District again, this coming week, to teach a lovely bunch of crafters at Grosvenor House Papers in Kendal.  Just a few more days until I see the lovely friends I met there once again. That includes you Joyce Egar!!
We will be doing cards made with IndigoBlu stamps, I will upload the photos as soon as repairs are completed.

I'm still ploughing through the computer course and am trying to work my way around "mail merging" and getting nowhere fast I hasten to add. I've been told not to worry, most people find it difficult ( or are they trying to be polite) and I'll get there in the end!! Time will tell........

Hopefully I'll be back very shortly

A quick post......

I've got a lot of IB samples to make just now, one for the next challenge, some for create and craft and more for the upcoming trade show next month.
I'll also soon be receiving my February DT pack for Jones Craft, with lots of new goodies I've been told. Can't wait!! Better get back to the craft room asap.

This is a really quick posting as my laptop will decide in a moment when she will switch herself off again. I thought it had been repaired and we would be back in business but no such luck I'm afraid.

I've just heard.......

Whoop Di Do!!!!!!
I've just had a call from Kay Haliwell-Sutton (She of IndigoBlu fame) and she has asked me to stay on the DT for another three months. How fabulous is that!! Kay then followed the call with the details for the next create and craft event and the trade show. OMG how much design  work have we all got to come.
By the way are you entering the challenge this month ?? Have you seen the prize?? It's amazing.

Computer is still in the hospital, no diagnosis as yet. Oh! and by the way when I got to my class yesterday my tutors asked if I would like to change my excel course to word2 (as they could see how stressed I was about it). As word2 is probably more beneficial to me than excel I jumped at the chance so off I go again........

Back to the.......

Poorly computer doctor today. My poor old girl could only manage to stay alive for ten minutes this morning so off we went back to the doctor this afternoon and she's staying there tonight. I'll get a progress report tomorrow.
I'll need to know how much it will cost to get her fixed because she is getting on a bit and it just might not be worth it in the end
So I'm waiting with baited breath to see how she gets on. In the meantime I can give you a progress report on my own venture in the computer course I've been doing.
Well I told you I'd passed my word 1 exam and my PowerPoint exam (I've even received my certificate for word 1) and today I started on excel. All I can say is OMG!!! I just want to cry.
Now numbers have never been my thing but everyone kept telling me "it's ok excel does it all for you" so how come I feel like I'm back in an algebra class at school. I may as well  be learning Greek!
I've promised I'll turn up tomorrow but it's not looking good. Lyndsey, one of the tutors, said "don't worry you wouldn't be able to learn French in one day either" but I know Lyndsey is fed up of hearing her name called already.
I'm having palpitations and hot sweats just thinking of tomorrow.

Another Crush.......

Same range but different colours.
Well here I am again!! Our Darren from Jones Crafts has been very busy putting more DT projects on their Facebook page so I'm getting to show you yet another one.
Again I've used the Velvet Crush Collection but this time I've used the black and white papers to make a scrap layout.
Just in case you hadn't noticed the gorgeous lady in the photo is ME.!! I don't really want to mention that it was taken around eight years ago, I would like to say it was taken yesterday but hey oh yet another year gone.

Total Meltdown......edited

If I don't have enough trouble in the wonderful world of IT!!
My newly learnt education in the land of computers is not doing me any good at the moment. Why I hear you all asking??  (especially as I am returning to the said classes on monday to start on Exel) well my very tired laptop has decided it has taken enough abuse from me and has give up on me.
To be honest it's been playing up for weeks now - and no it's not my fault. The computer doctor says my battery well and truly given up and to just use it plugged in. So off I went home to do just that and what happens then..... It keeps switching itself off.
So back to the docs tomorrow but I don't hold out much hope. The problem is that little job of uploading everything onto the external hard drive I have has not been done. I know, I know it's a job I've always said I'd get round to doing but hey oh, I haven't so now I'm panicking about all the photos and work etc that locked away on the poorly laptop.
Now I can blog away on my iPad but the problem is I can't load any pics on for you, it just doesn't work. So I hope normal blogging will resume ASAP.
I keep you all informed........ Wish me luck

I'VE MANAGED TO LOAD A POST FOR TOMORROW YaY!!!

Pauline Has A Crush........

But don't panic!!! It's only a Velvet Crush!! And I knew just the photo to use with this gorgeous collection of papers from Kaisercraft. I've taken a grey board photo frame and covered it with this lush paper and used the matching embellishment pack to decorated it, along with some of Jones Crafts buttons and a couple of dies.
Now you do already know about my lack of photographic skills, but this photo was from one of my better moments. A never to be repeated one off ( which because of it's quality you may have seen already, or will do in the future) one of a kind photo. It's of my totally amazing granddaughter Niamh.
There is more to come from me using this range so keep tuning in.....please xx
